I’m Carlos Bernabeu. I live in Madrid, where I decide what to build next

Since 1995, computers have been a passion of mine. I enjoy tinkering with hardware and software, and even built my own computer when I was 12. Being self-taught has been a challenge, but also incredibly rewarding, enabling me to learn whatever I was interested about.

My passion for motorcycles rivals my love for computers. Despite not having a background in mechanical engineering, I taught myself how to completely rebuild a motorcycle from the ground up - a vintage model from the 1980s. The challenge of this project only fueled my interest and excitement for motorcycles. While computers continue to fascinate me, there's something special about the raw power and mechanics of a motorcycle that draws me in and keeps me captivated.

For the past few years, I've spent time buying old motorcycles and transforming them into "cafe racers". This has been an incredibly rewarding experience, one that I deeply cherish. I take pride in the process of taking a worn-out bike and transforming it into something beautiful and functional. The satisfaction of revving up the engine and feeling the power beneath me is unparalleled. My love for motorcycles only continues to grow with each new project, and I look forward to many more years of this fulfilling hobby.

These days, I work as a full-time engineer, taking my profession seriously and staying up-to-date with the latest technology and software. In addition to my professional work, I enjoy building personal projects that allow me to explore new technologies and expand my skill set. I'm currently involved in the development of Micappital, where I'm building the necessary technology to support the project. It's a challenging and exciting endeavor that allows me to combine my passion for technology and engineering with my love for creating and building new things.
